It was really very windy and chilly morning at Nathula. Not much of snow to be seen around. But a clear sunny day, gave us ample opportunity to click some pictures.

56 Kms from Gangtok is Nathula pass, situated at an altitude if 14,450 feet at the border of India and China. We hired a Mahindra Scorpio for our travel to Nathula.

We hired a Chevrolet Tavera for Rs 2200/- from Airport Pre-Paid Taxi service.

Generally the road to Gangtok is pretty smooth and metallic, one might face few bad patches. Or you might notice such interesting maneuvers on road!

Gangtok is 124 Kms from Bagdogra Airport. Its about 4 hrs drive.

We reached Bagdogra airport in the afternoon. Its a military airport that is open for civilian flights. It is located about 16 kilometres from the city of Siliguri in northern West Bengal, India. The airport acts as a gateway for thousands of tourists annually, most destined to the hill station towns of Darjeeling and Kalimpong and the state of Sikkim.



Toys @ New Market Kolkata

New Market, is situated at Lindsay Street. Technically, this is an enclosed market but today in local parlance the entire Lindsay Street shopping area is often known as New Market. With toys being sold on street and cars acting as temporary placeholder for them.
