On our way back to Gangtok, we halted at the Seven Sister waterfalls. This waterfall is located at a distance of 32 KMs of Gangtok.

The building of Labrang has an unusual shape of an octagon.

Built towards the end of nineteenth century, this monastery belongs to the Nyingmapa sect.

Labrang was so tranquil that we spent quite a time there observing the Monastery and the surroundings.

On the slopes of Labrang, a watch tower that provides beautiful view of the valley.

About a KM beyond Phodang is the recently renovated Labrang Monastery. We came across a beautiful country house in the middle of nature. Quite a experience for people living in those houses.

We spent quite a time at Phodang relaxing a bit amidst the tranquil environment. It is really a peaceful place to be.
